2017 has been a successful year thus far…


Employee Jarod Boucier and his wife said goodbye to their son Dakota who left mid November for Marines Basic Training at Pendleton.  Thanks and good luck Dakota!

Employee Matt Hillhouse and wife Janika just returned from a well deserved vacation in Hawaii where they surfed, snorkeled and lounged their way into relaxation.  Congratulations Matt and Janika.

Employee’s Cliff Neely & Lance Dillon have just completed their Systimax Installation and Maintenance training as well as their SYSTIMAX Master Class D&E and I&M Recertification.  Pete Wantowski, Steve Nygaard and Matt Hillhouse will finish next week.  Good job guys.

Owner Bill Mildfelt is completing his Design and Engineering re-certification with Systimax.

Announcing the 2012 Annual Christmas Party at the Monarch Hotel in Clackamas, OR on Dec. 14th.  Beside the always unique and entertaining camaraderie that goes around our tight knit group, we will be enjoying  dinner, dancing, friendly libation and a fond look back on a challenging yet positive year.  Happy Holidays to all and blessings in the New Year!


Apprentice Technician Chad Hoover (Xtreme employee since April of 2008) was awarded the free annual tuition grant from IECO. Atta boy Chad!

Lead Technicians Pete Wantowski and Chris Grace (Xtreme employees since May of 2007, and March 2004 respectively) while working on the Providence Hood River Hospital Remodel rustled up a new hard hat for a young man staying at the hospital after he requested one. All the workers in the area that day signed the hat for the man (who suffered from severe cerebral palsy and pneumonia). Hospital Administrator, Lix Settje took the opportunity to snap a few pictures for thier own newsletter. Way to go guys!

Community Service Award – Best of New Construction & Renovation was presented to Providence Health System for the New Construction and Renovation of the Portland Providence Cancer Center. Those sharing the award: Turner Construction Company (General Contractor), Zimmer Gunsul Frasca (Architect) and Xtreme Communications, Inc. (Structured Communications Cabling).

Portland, Oregon- Providence Health Systems has contracted with local voice, data and wireless cabling contractor Xtreme Communications for the cabling infrastructure at Providence Health System’s North Pavilion site on their Portland Medical Center campus. Providence IT Facility Manager, Alan Crauthers, selected Xtreme Communications once again for an enduring solution that would meet what are certain to be the robust technology demands of the future.
